Rotorics

Machine controls.
Electrical and software.

We design and build industrial control systems from scratch. Electrical schematics, control cabinets, PLC software and commissioning. One specialist, full responsibility, from first conversation to working installation.

What we do

Electrical engineering.
From concept to commissioning.

We specialise in industrial control systems. Whether you are building a new machine or modernising an existing one, we handle the full trajectory.

01 / Existing machines
Retrofit and modernisation

Outdated controls, obsolete components or software nobody understands anymore. We assess what is there, define what needs to change and replace it with a system that is reliable, documented and maintainable.

02 / New machines
Electrical design and cabinet build

From schematic to finished cabinet. We design the electrical drawings, source the components and build the control panel. Brand independent, or matched to your existing infrastructure if needed.

03 / Safety
Safety upgrades

Many machines in operation today no longer meet current safety standards. We assess the existing situation and upgrade the safety system to comply with modern norms. Simple, failsafe and fully documented.

04 / Software
PLC programming

We write PLC software that is structured, readable and easy to maintain. No unnecessary complexity. Every function is documented so the next engineer who opens the project understands exactly what it does and why.

How we work

We diagnose first.
Then we build.

Every project starts with understanding the machine and what it needs to do. Only then do we start designing.

01
We talk about your machine

What does the machine need to do? What are the requirements, the safety demands, the operational constraints? We ask the right questions before we touch anything. If it is an existing machine, we look at the source code first.

02
We design the logic on paper

Before writing a single line of code, we map the complete machine behaviour in a state diagram. Every state, every transition, every condition. The machine is fully defined on paper before we build anything. This is where problems are cheap to solve.

03
We design, build and program

Electrical drawings are made, the control cabinet is built and the PLC software is written based on the agreed design. You receive regular updates. Most of this work happens remotely, which keeps costs down and timelines short.

04
We commission on-site

We come to you for installation and commissioning. The system is tested, adjusted and handed over with full documentation. You receive the source code, the electrical drawings and everything you need to maintain the system independently.

Why Rotorics

Simple by design.
Reliable by default.

We believe a good control system should be easy to understand, easy to maintain and hard to break. That is not a limitation. That is the goal.

No unnecessary complexity

We write software that does exactly what it needs to do. Nothing more. A system that is simple to read is simple to maintain and simple to troubleshoot when something goes wrong.

Always with documentation

Every project is delivered with complete documentation. Electrical drawings, functional descriptions, source code. The next engineer who works on your machine will not be starting from zero.

Brand independent

We work with all major brands. If you have an existing preference or installed base, we follow it. If you are starting fresh, we recommend what fits the application best.

Wide service area

Design, software and documentation are done remotely, which means geography is rarely a barrier. We serve clients across Sweden, the Netherlands and Belgium. On-site presence is reserved for what actually requires it: commissioning and installation.

Diagnosis before solution

We never start building before we understand the problem. Especially on retrofit projects, a thorough diagnosis often reveals that the real issue is simpler than expected and cheaper to fix.

Safety done right

We design safety systems to be as simple and failsafe as possible. Not over-engineered for the sake of it. A safety system should be transparent, testable and understandable by whoever maintains the machine.

About

The engineer behind Rotorics

One specialist. Full responsibility. From first conversation to working installation.

Freek Broers
Control Engineer, Rotorics

With a background in process optimisation and industrial automation for high-volume manufacturing, Freek has spent years designing and building control systems for complex machines. He understands what reliable production looks like from the inside. After relocating to Sweden in 2025, he founded Rotorics around a simple conviction: a well-designed control system should be easy to understand, easy to maintain and built to last. He works remotely for design and programming, and travels to the client for commissioning.
